A MUN Pediatrics professor is being recognized for her pandemic response.
Dr. Natalie Bridger is being honoured with a Pediatric Chairs of Canada 2020 COVID Leadership Award.
Dr. Bridger educated front line staff, tested operating procedures and highlighted gaps in knowledge as part of the Pandemic Preparedness Team in early 2020.
She says it meant a lot that her colleagues took the time to nominate her.
The award will be presented virtually during the annual PCC awards ceremony on December 11.
