As Newfoundlanders and Labradorians prepare for Christmas, the province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health is making new changes to Special Measures Orders as of midnight tonight.
The maximum number of people allowed in an informal gathering with family and friends will be reduced to 20 from 50.

While the maximum is 20, Dr. Fitzgerald says that number should only include close, consistent contacts.
