A man will be in court in St. John’s this morning after an incident aboard a trans-Atlantic flight which made an unscheduled landing at St. John’s International.
The RNC say the 24-year-old was being unruly aboard the plane. He has been charged with assault and causing a disturbance.
An app which tracks most international and domestic air traffic in real-time shows the flight being diverted. It was an Air Canada flight which was en route from Montreal to Paris.
