Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting one new confirmed case of COVID-19.
It involves a man in his 40s in the Eastern Health region. The source of the infection is under investigation.
There are 19 active cases of COVID-19 in the province, including one person in hospital.
In the meantime, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick have both reported two new cases of the virus today, bringing their total number of active cases to 30 and 31 respectively. PEI has also reported two cases, with six total active incidents of COVID-19.
For the first time, Ontario has topped 2,500 new cases in a single day. To date, that province has reported a total of 175,908 cases.
