The City of Corner Brook and the RNC are allowing on-street parking from 8:00 p.m. Thursday to 8:00 a.m. Friday in an effort to dissuade impaired driving.
This measure only applies to the winter ban for on-street parking and does not include other sections of the Highway Traffic Act.
Residents will have until the end of New Year’s Day to remove a parked vehicle.
In the event of a major storm, exceptions may apply.
