RCMP are investigating a sudden death in Natuashish over the weekend.
Police confirm one person is in custody after a man was shot and died in hospital last evening.
Mushua Innu Band Council Chief John Nui posted to Facebook last night indicating that additional RCMP officers are expected in the community today.
Nui asked people not to post pictures or comments on Facebook out of respect for the families involved.
He asked residents to support each other and pray for strength for the families involved.
