Newfoundland and Labrador is getting more COVID-19 vaccines than it had expected.
Premier Andrew Furey tweeted out the information this morning following last night’s First Ministers meeting.
Vaccines are currently being administered in Central Health and Western Health with vaccinations to begin Monday in Labrador.
Premier Furey did not provide greater detail on the number of vaccines.
Great news from the call with @CanadianPM @JustinTrudeau last night. Newfoundland and Labrador is getting more COVID-19 vaccines than first expected. I’m happy to report vaccines are now being administered in @CentralHealthNL, @WesternHealthNL, and starting in Labrador Monday! pic.twitter.com/K3ReSWMqLx
