Rainbow Riders and the RNC are partnering to help explore more Equine Therapy opportunities for first responders.
It comes after the four horses that make up the Constabulary’s Mounted Unit were transferred to a new facility at the Rainbow Riders site on Mount Scio Road for the winter and early spring period.
The benefits of Equine Therapy for those who have suffered mental health injuries are well-known, and the RNC has been involved in the program for some time.

Chief Joe Boland says working with Rainbow Riders and other partners will offer more opportunities beyond the Constabulary.
The move will allow them to set up a volunteer program at the Rainbow Riders indoor arena with a special emphasis on first responders.
