St. John’s City Council announced yesterday that they’ve received the KPMG report into the potential sale of Mile One, but it won’t be released publicly for three more weeks.
The Board of St.John’s and Sports Entertainment completed its own review of the consultant’s report on January 21.
City council is now waiting to be briefed by KPMG on the report before making it public.
Councilor Jamie Korab says it’s necessary to review the report for council to get a full understanding of the situation before making a decision.
He says the report has brought a lot of things to light council wouldn’t normally consider and it will help them through the process.
After the briefing, the report and its recommendations will be discussed in council and will then be shared online through the city’s website.
