Bay Roberts RCMP are looking for the public’s help locating a man who they say is actively avoiding them on firearms charges.
On January 16, a firearm belonging to 31-year-old William Reid of Marysvale was turned over to police. Reid is prohibited from owning firearms.
Earlier today, an arrest warrant was issued for the man.
Police say he is also known as Billy Reid or William (Billy) Conway, and has connections to Grand Bank, Avondale and St. John’s.
He is described as 5’8″, around 220 pounds with blue eyes and greying hair.
