Regional hockey championships have been cancelled for this year.
The Atlantic Canadian branches announced on Friday that due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the pandemic, the 2021 Atlantic championships have been cancelled at all levels of hockey.
The tournaments are usually held in March and April for divisions from Under 13 to Junior.
Hockey Canada has also cancelled all national tournaments for the 2020-21 season.
The provinces that were scheduled to host Atlantic championships this year will now host in 2022. Each of the Atlantic branches, including Hockey NL will determine host teams and host sites later this year.
