Eastern Health is temporarily reducing the number of entry points, or entrances, to its facilities.
When arriving at the Health Sciences, the Janeway, St. Clare’s, Carbonear General or the G.B. Cross Hospital in Clarenville, patients are asked to enter the facility using the designated entrance for their appointments.
People going to hospitals in the metro area will notice that entrances are labelled with a large number visible on the outside of each entry point.
To identify the designated entrance in advance of a scheduled appointment or clinic, go to the Eastern Health website and select the “Hospital & Site Entrances” tab.
In addition, some administrative offices including the Business Office and Health information Services and Informatics offices at Mount Pearl Square are closed to the general public.
