The price of many alcoholic beverages is going up as of tomorrow, although the rise is marginal.
The NLC says the annual price adjustment is made to respond to various market conditions including inflation and the cost of goods and transportation. The Commission says while some products will increase in price, others are going down.
Beer bubbles up by 0.98 per cent, or roughly three cents a dozen, ready-to-drink beverages rise by 1.19 per cent. spirits are up by 1.06 per cent and wine increases by 1.25 per cent. However, those prices fluctuate up or down according to the product.
Meanwhile, the NLC also stated that cannabis products will see a drop of about seven per cent as of June 1st.
