There are two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the province today, both in the Central region and both related to travel.
There are three presumptive positive cases, one associated with the Central Newfoundland cluster, and two related to the Western cluster.
There are no new recoveries, leaving 70 active cases—including two people in hospital.
The Department of Health says a case identified on May 20 in the Central region is non-epidemiologically linked, as the source of transmission remains unknown.
According to the province’s COVID-19 information hub, over 65 per cent of eligible residents have received at least one dose of vaccine.
As of today, 150,792 people have been tested for the virus.
