Two people have been displaced by a house fire in Roddickton-Bide Arm, about 130 kilometres southeast of St. Anthony.
The fire was reported at around 4:00 Friday morning on Harbour Drive. Neither person was injured by the fire.
The woman and her adult son are staying with relatives in the community for now.
Canadian Red Cross volunteers from Corner Brook are providing the pair with financial aid for emergency purchases such as clothing and food.
