A suspected robber is in custody after store security followed him outside the store.
Shortly after 8:30 p.m., police responded to a call of a robbery at a commercial business on Topsail Road.
The suspect got away for a period but the RNC caught up with him a short time later.
Police officers found him with stolen property in his possession.
He was charged with theft, breach of a release order and breach of probation. He was held for court over the weekend.
