The family of a 67-year-old CBS man, missing for a full week after going for a walk with his dog, are trying their best to stay positive.
An extensive search has so far failed to turn up any sign of Chesley Radford or his pet beagle Charlie, last seen in the area of Sobey’s in Long Pond over the lunch hour last Thursday.
Radford’s niece, Juanita Dwyer says search efforts are still actively underway with people out every single day searching every available lead.
She says they’re also availing of Clarence Wilson and his German Shepherd Wilma who offer a tracking service, but they need more possible sightings to determine where to continue the search.
Dwyer says while the family is doing its best to stay positive, the situation has been very trying on them all.
“The unknown and the waiting is the worst,” she says.
