A skateboarder in Pasadena is frustrated after the local skate park was vandalized once again.
BJ Randell has helped repair the park when it was damaged in the past.
He says he was at the park with his kids and found a concrete garbage can, which according to him weighs about 250 pounds, tipped over resulting in a crack across the surface of the concrete. As well, a section of railing was, as he calls it, “obliterated”.
Randell calls the situation frustrating but doesn’t believe it was a targeted attack at the skate community.
He says the damage isn’t the end of the world, but it’s a sore spot for him because the more he tries the more it sets him back.
