The CNIB Foundation is raising money through a socially distanced automobile cruise today.
With their “Wheels for Wishes Cruisin’ Cause We Care” event, the foundation is looking to raise enough money to provide a Guide Dog to 18-year-old Brandon, who lives in St. John’s and has lost most of his peripheral and night vision due to a rare eye-condition.
Brandon is looking to attend University in the fall and a Guide Dog would provide him with increased mobility.
The cruise is open to any type of vehicle. The admission fee is by donation. It kicks off at 2:00 p.m. at the Goulds Arena Parking Lot.
