A local business owner is expressing her gratitude towards her customers who helped them through the dark days of the pandemic.

Lynn Hindy owns Universal Corporate Wear on Hamlyn Road in St. John’s, which recently donated $1,000 to MusicNL through a special T-shirt campaign.

She created a t-shirt logo “Music Matters” that incorporates notes from the Ode to Newfoundland. Hindy started selling the merchandise with five dollars from every t-shirt sale going to MusicNL.

However, Hindy says without her customers supporting her, she wouldn’t have been able to support others with various fundraisers throughout the pandemic.

She says everyone is suffering in one way or the other, so receiving the support feels great, as they can both help other organizations and keep their doors open,
