The Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture is hosting events that encourage young people to practice safe and responsible hunting and angling.
Partnering with local rod and gun clubs, the events will be hosted in various locals across the island and will provide youth with coaching and supervision while learning new skills.
The sessions will cover wildlife conservation, firearm safety, rifle and shotgun basics, outdoor survival orienteering and fly-fishing techniques.
Participants must have a parent or guardian present and will have to pre-register for the events.
