The Beaver Brook Antimony Mine in central Newfoundland is preparing to restart full operations late this month or early next.

The mine, located about 43 km southwest of Glenwood, suspended operations in November of 2020.

In a release issued this week, Beaver Brook says it anticipates a remaining mine life of up to two years and possibly beyond if further exploration is conducted.

Internal planning and preparations to restart the mine in what Beaver Brook calls a safe, efficient and orderly manner have begun.
