RCMP are investigating after a traffic stop near Gander that resulted in the seizure of a quantity of drugs and cash.

Police pulled over a vehicle on the Trans Canada Highway near Little Harbour around 2:15 a.m. on Sunday, August 29.

The driver, a 26-year-old woman, was driving with a suspended licence and without insurance. Police noticed what appeared to be cocaine on the back seat of the vehicle.

A search of the vehicle and its three occupants resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cash and pills.

The car was seized and impounded. The investigation continues.
