Memorial University are urging anyone having anxiety over the COVID-19 vaccine to get in touch with the school’s wellness centre.
Students attending Memorial University this fall must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, however, some students are facing challenges such as anxiety receiving needles.
Director of the Student Wellness and Counselling Centre at MUN, Dr. Ken Fowler, asks that anyone experiencing a similar scenario get in contact with the wellness centre so they can work out a plan for said students to be successful.
The Student Wellness and Counselling Centre can be reached by emailing swccwellness@mun.ca, or by calling (709) 864-8500.
