A virtual federal election debate on the environment is being held on Wednesday.

Hosted by Western Environment Centre Newfoundland, the debate will feature candidates from the Long Range Mountains district as part of the national 100 Debates on the Environment.

NDP candidate Kaila Mintz and Liberal incumbent Gudie Hutchings are confirmed for the debate, and the organization says an offer has been extended to Conservative candidate Carol Anstey.

The debate kicks off on Wednesday, September 8th at 7 p.m.
