The City of St. John’s is asking people to avoid travel unless for essential reasons to provide crews with time to clean up streets, sidewalks, parks and open spaces.
Lanes are reduced on many streets due to debris. Right now, the priority with traffic signals is to remove hanging structures but that process will take some time.

Starting tomorrow, residents who are cleaning branches and trees from private property can drop off debris at the large gravel parking lot at Quidi Vidi Lake near the Boulevard.
