Premier Andrew Furey says the province’s vaccine passport, which is expected to be introduced in the coming weeks, will be required for all non-essential services and gatherings in the province.
Furey made the comment at a provincial COVID briefing called Friday.
He says the vaccine passport, when it is introduced, will be required for access to all non-essential services.
Furey offered the clarification after some confusion over whether the vaccine passport would be mandatory. More detail on how the vaccine passport will be used and where it will be required will be released in the coming weeks.
