A group of workers at the Terrington Co-op in Happy Valley-Goose Bay are sharing a big 6/49 win.

The ten workers won the $6 million dollar jackpot in the May 29th Lotto 6/49 draw.

Tony Chaulk who is part of the winning group checked his social media before heading into work following the prize draw and saw an alert from Atlantic Lottery showing someone in the area had won the big prize.

He and coworker Naomie Adey who are in on the lottery pool with eight other coworkers, went in early to check their ticket. Chaulk says he started to shake when the screen came up “Congratulations, $6 million.”

The rest of the group includes Lori Ann Wiseman, Jerome Ivany, David Blackmore, Andy Budgell, Gilbert Yetman, Fred Humber, Carolyn Burry and Richard Fines.
