A well-known name in local running circles came out on top among Canadian women participating in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon earlier this month.
Kate Bazeley of St. John’s placed fifth in the 35-39 age group, and 102nd among all runners with a posted time of 2:36:46.
Bazeley came in first place in the women’s 30-34 age group at the 2016 Tely 10.
