CoLab Software, a local tech start-up that provides a web-based collaboration tool and issue-tracking platform for engineering teams, is making some big moves.
CO-founder and CEO Adam Keating has announced that the company has raised some $17-million USD in Series A funding.
That category of funding is usually a fit for a start-up which is ready to scale up operations.
Keating says it will enable them to double their workforce of about 50 over the next six to eight months.
The money will allow them to immediately pursue their short-term goals, but that’s just a start.
It also lets them do things they have dreamt of, namely developing tools they wished they had had a few years ago.
