A former Paradise town councilor has passed away.
Vince Burton moved to the town nearly 50 years ago from Shea Heights.
He served as a labour leader with the Carpenters and Millwright Union, and volunteered with a number of local organizations and community groups.
Burton was first elected to Paradise town council in 2009 and was re-elected to a second term in 2013.
Flags will be lowered to half-mast at the Paradise town hall in honour of Burton.
