Visitor restrictions are now in place at all hospitals and long-term-care homes on the Burin Peninisula due to a cluster of COVID-19 cases in the area.
Hospital and long-term care patients at all facilities on the Burin Peninsula can identify two designated visitors and one support person to visit at separate times. If physical distancing is possible, visitors can be present at the same time for long-term care patients.
Emergency Department patients are asked to come alone, if it is safe for them to do so. Visitors of palliative care patients are asked to contact the health-care team.
