The two ECHL teams playing at the Conception Bay South Arena tomorrow night practiced out of the facility for the first time today.
The Newfoundland Growlers’ opponent, the Adirondack Thunder, arrived in St. John’s yesterday.
Capacity has been set at 1200, which means some limits on the amount of seating for season ticket holders.
There is no room for general admission.
Staff worked well beyond normal quitting time last night, getting tickets to fans, as refunds for tickets at Mary Brown’s Centre have to be refunded through that facility.
Growlers spokesman Ken O’Leary says the Town of Conception Bay South and Public Health was instrumental in making it all come together.
The number of tickets for each person has been capped at two, whereas normally it would be four or six.
