A 29-year-old woman is facing a number of charges in relation to an unusual incident that culminated with a dramatic traffic incident in a St. John’s neighbourhood late this morning.
RNC received a report around 8:20 this morning that a pickup and travel trailer were stolen from a property in Bauline.
Police received numerous reports about a similar vehicle matching that description, culminating when the travel trailer ended up on its side on Sorrel Drive near Goldstone Street in the north end of the city.
A 29-year-old woman was taken into custody at the scene.
She’s facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime, dangerous driving, flight from police and breach of a court order.
She was held to appear in court.
