The RNC are investigating a recent armed robbery from a downtown St. John’s pub.

Police say a lone male suspect entered the Station Lounge on Huntchings Street, under the overpass off Water Street West in St. John’s just after midnight Monday morning.

He presented a weapon to staff and made off with a sum of money, but not before accidently heading into the bathroom instead of out the door, according to one patron.

RNC say the suspect was described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, of medium build and approximately 180 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt, pants and gloves and had a black ski mask pulled over his face, showing only blue eyes. He was also carrying a black satchel
