The Canadian Mental Health Association Newfoundland and Labrador has appointed a new CEO.
Kimberly Yetman Dawson will replace John Abbott who stepped down to run in the last provincial election.
Yetman Dawson has served on the CMHA-NL’s Board of Directors since 2017, and as President of Board since 2019. She is also the former Executive Director of Empower, the Disability Resource Centre having served in the role for six years.
She praised the former CEO, crediting Abbott with setting the right foundation for future partnerships and programming.
