Visitor restrictions at a personal care home in Paradise have been implemented due to a non-COVID, flu-like respiratory illness.
The restrictions were implemented on Wednesday and will remain in place until six days after the onset of symptoms at the Meadow Creek Retirement Centre.
Non-essential visits are discouraged at this time according to Eastern Health officials.
Similar restrictions were put in place at the Karwood Personal Care Home last month, but those have since been lifted.
