The family of the late Ron Hynes have announced a concert in his memory, celebrating his musical legacy.
The Night of a Thousand Rons will be held on Wednesday, December 29th at the Delta Ballroom in St. John’s.
The list of guests includes Alan Doyle, the Ennis Sisters, Cory Tetford, among others.
According to Heather McKinnon, Ron’s cousin and administrator of his estate, the concert is a fundraiser to aid with lingering debts of his estate.
McKinnon says she is thrilled so many high caliber artists have stepped up to help, so long after Ron’s passing.
Hynes passed away in 2015, at the age of 64.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, December 7th at noon, through the Holy Heart Theatre box office.
