Police are investigating a hit-and-run on Friday afternoon.

At approximately 4:50, RNC received a report of a vehicle driving on West Street had collided with a parked vehicle, which was damaged.

A nearby witness recorded the licence plate of the vehicle responsible.

The incident remains under investigation.
