Two snowmobilers on the west coast have been found and both are okay after spending a night outdoors.
The two men—a 52-year-old and a 78-year-old—went ice fishing in the area of Lady Slipper Road in Corner Brook yesterday morning and were expected to return by suppertime. However, their machine got bogged down on the edge of a pond, so they spent the night in a tent they towed along for ice fishing. They also had a small propane heater.
The RNC were called at about 9 p.m. Sunday to organize a search. The pair was found this morning.
