The City of Corner Brook is moving forward with some modified health and safety protocols in light of the lifting of the provincial government’s Special Measures Orders related to COVID-19.
Masks will no longer be required for visitors to Corner Brook city hall, but the water treatment plant, public works building and fire hall will remain closed to the public.
Masks and vax passes will no longer be required at the Corner Brook Civic Centre, but masks and physical distancing will still be strongly recommended. Walking track and skating schedules have been updated and can be found on the Civic Centre’s Facebook page.
Corner Brook Transit is back up to full capacity, and while masks are still strongly recommended, they are not required. The city is reminding residents to stay home if they feel sick, with online portals available for residents to conduct city business with staff.
