Members of the 103 Search and Rescue Squadron in Gander were called into action off the coast of Labrador on Monday night.
The SAR-Tech team hoisted an injured crewmember from the deck of a fishing vessel approximately 120 kilometres north of Makkovik.
The patient was transported to hospital in Goose Bay and is listed in good condition.
