A family of three has been temporarily displaced following an overnight fire in St. John’s.
The blaze broke out around 1:30 this morning in a vacant townhouse on Copperthwaite Court.
That unit was extensively damaged by the blaze, and an attached home received minor smoke and heat damage as well.
As a result, a woman and her two daughters have been temporarily displaced.
The Canadian Red Cross has stepped in to arrange emergency basics for the family.
