Three people are facing charges after a series of thefts in conception Bay North.
At around 4:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, police were called to a residential area of Coley’s Point following a report of an unknown vehicle parked near a home on South Road. Three occupants exited the white Toyota Rav 4 and were trespassing on the property.
Police located the vehicle and arrested all three individuals following a search of the property. Officers found that the three suspects had drilled a hole in the gas tank of a vehicle parked at the home in an attempt to steal its contents.
42 year-old Bradley Whelan, 32 year-old Adrianne Haire, and 29 year-old Carl Clarke were arrested and charged for a spree of thefts following separate reports of overnight break and enters and thefts from residences in Coley’s Point. The SUV remains in police custody as police attempt to get a warrant to search the vehicle.
