RCMP on the west coast have recruited two new officers.

Police Dog Thor and his handler Corporal Chris Ralph will be joining the Bay St. George Detachment.

Three-year-old Thor was born at the Police Dog Training Centre in Alberta and has been paired with Corporal Ralph since 2020. The two worked briefly in Moncton before getting transferred to Grande Prairie.

Thor is a lover of water and swimming in particular.
