Most of Peacekeepers Way and Pitts Memorial Drive were closed Sunday for another trash cleanup.
The work included the stretch from Fowler’s Road right down to New Gower Street.
Officials say the closure was necessary to ensure the safety of those taking part in the cleanup.
The highway was scheduled to reopen as of 7 p.m.
