The capelin are rolling at Middle Cove and Outer Cove beaches, prompting the town of Logy Bay—Middle Cove—Outer Cove to issue a friendly reminder to the many people flocking to the area to take in the natural phenomenon.
The town says while it loves to welcome visitors, it reminds people to exercise safety and obey parking regulations.
The town says avoiding traffic congestion will help in managing the influx, and any vehicles that are parked illegally in no parking areas will be ticketed by the RNC.
Keeping traffic flowing will ensure that assess is maintained for emergency vehicles, and they’re asking people not to park on both sides of Marine Drive.
