Stella’s Circle and Shopper’s Drug Mart are pairing up for the 10th annual Run for Women tomorrow at Quidi Vidi Lake in St. John’s.
The national event will help to raise funds for the Just Us Women’s Centre and the Naomi Centre shelter for women under 30.
Laura Winters of Stella’s Circle says it’s a great initiative that helps support mental health programs for women in the community.
Keith Bailey of Shopper’s Drug Mart says Shoppers is proud to be on board.
They’ve raised over $14 million across Canada to date for local women’s charities in about 20 different cities.
The event begins at 9 a.m. tomorrow at Quidi Vidi Lake.
