A Cormorant from the 103 Search and Rescue Squadron in Gander was called into action last night to help a vessel in distress approximately 80 km northeast of St. Anthony.
The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax says the helicopter was called out to deliver a pump and radio to another vessel that was on the way to offer assistance.
