An attempted murder charge has been laid against Brandon Chafe in connection with a shooting incident in the Goulds that resulted in serious injuries to a 21-year-old man.

20-year-old Chafe was already facing a long list of assault and firearms-related charges in connection with the June 19 incident.

Chafe is now facing additional charges of attempted murder, robbery and uttering threats. He remains in custody pending a court appearance.

A second man, 22-year-old Thomas Barnes has been charged with aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm and unauthorized possession of a firearm in a vehicle in connection with the same investigation.
